Winterland needs volunteers to launch the rocket and keep the show going before, during and after the festival. We promise a lot of fun, you’ll make new friends and be part of the amazing event… where the rocket shoots off into the sky and straight into aerospace history!
If you work as a volunteer during the festival you must work one day in order to get a ticket for the other day, and naturally, you have to work the day you are most needed. If you only work before/after the festival you must work at least 16 hours to earn tickets for both days.
As a volunteer at Winterland you will receive:
– Crew clothes, which you must wear while you work
– Festival ticket(s)
– Food and beverages while you are at work
– Volunteer party
– Participate in sending Tromsø to the sky!
As a volunteer at Winterland, we expect that you:
– Show up on time and sober for the shifts we have agreed upon
– Wear your crew clothes while you work with us
– Do your best, work with a smile, and remember that you will be seen as a representative of the festival.
All information you get about Winterland AS, or any of our partners as a result of your work for us is confidential. You will under no circumstances be allowed to speak to the media about the festival or on behalf of the festival without clearing it with your closest supervisor and the head of media. This also applies after your work for us has finished.
Any violations of these obligations can and will end in confiscation of your ticket and exclusion from the festival.
When accepting these terms, both you and Winterland AS commit to their part of the agreement. In addition to that, will you be insured by the festival when you are at work. If an accident were to happen when at work, you will have to let your supervisor know and together you will fill out a form. Failure to do so can result in no insurance claim.
Misuse of your ticket or otherwise breach of contract will cause you to be billed the equivalent of a festival ticket which is NOK 1395.
In accordance with the new privacy regulations (GDPR) you also must give Winterland your consent to store information and pictures of you. The information will not be shared with a third party, and you can ask the festival to access the information we have stored about you at any time. You can also ask that we delete parts or all of the data we have stored about you at any time.
